The highest priority was to effectively deliver the value of “reliability” in the most reassuring manner. We set the overall tone and key color in pastel blue shades to build a smart and reliable image while using witty illustrations to reduce the stereotypically rigid and dull feel of a maintenance/repair app and help users intuitively recognize the current status of various devices.
The area for information and notices and the area for card-shaped icons for different functions were visually divided, with the card-shaped icons arranged from top to bottom based on the importance of each function. This arrangement helps users remain aware of the key functions and information available.
Each card-shaped icon on the main page is designed to facilitate an intuitive understanding of the respective function using appropriate images, color, etc. For example, the Device Management card, which enables users to check the status of their connected devices at a glance, marks each device with its respective icon and its status in a colored dot. The green dot means “normal operation”, the yellow dot “potential issues”, and the red dot “issues detected”. this system users easily recognize the status of each individual device without the need to learn the details.
