SmartThings UX3.0 Renewal

UX Design / Design Strategy
Project Overview
Previous versions of SmartThings UX 2.0, used until 2019, required changes for several reasons. The design trends had evolved, necessitating an update to align with Samsung's One UI and Google's Material Design. Additionally, it was time to address user requirements and enhance performance speed.
My Contributions
I designed the SmartThings UX 3.0, establishing design directions and overseeing the common interface and components. I played a key role in leading the design of the common interface, conducting user research, creating wireframes, and developing visual design.
Improved SmartThings' Google Store ratings from 3.5 to 4.4 and increased home appliance connectivity by 30%. Addressed app speed and consistency issues based on user feedback. Contributed to revenue generation through the service app's business model.
